As a coach for small business owners…
I help my clients find clarity with their vision, achieve their goals and execute on strategy, team building, hiring, and creating a positive and clear work environment.
As I help my clients set up new strategies and systems, I watch as they free up their time, and fall back in love with their lives.
I believe we can ALL live balanced lives, contribute in a meaningful way, make a great living, and have time for our passions. With that belief, I help my clients
discover what lights them up
and I support them to create more freedom in their life and business while doing what they love most.
My Qualifications…
For the past 8 years I have worked between managing and directing a small local business while managing and directing my own life, relationships, marriage, pregnancy, and having a baby girl.
Now that I have this little, but oh so important and active family of mine, I realize even more how important it is to balance work and life, love my work and life, and to prioritize and organize --because time has become so precious!
My career in the business world began with working at lululemon athletica for 5 years in the US and Australia. As a Store Manager, I opened new stores, hired, developed, and coached awesome teams. After opening my first store in Carlsbad, California when I was 23, I went on to become a Regional Manager and a New Store Opening Trainer. I spent these years learning
management skills, operational skills, strategy, and implementation
along with goal setting and coaching. I even completed the entire Landmark Forum during this time! I then became a yoga teacher and began to teach meditation, breath work, and asana to my students. Meanwhile, I continued in the business world working for a large and growing yoga studio group as their Regional Manager as well as the buyer for their boutique on the side.
My Turning Point…
I needed to move back to San Diego for family reasons. I became quite depressed during this time because I felt out of place, lacked direction, had reverse culture shock, and hated the low paying job I moved into.
Life was just not going the way I thought it would. I had loved my life in Australia - the vibe of Sydney, the friends I made there over three years, my demanding career, the balance of life I had while traveling for work and for play… but it all came to a halt.
Back in San Diego, I wasn't making the money I knew I could earn. Nor was I making enough money to live the life I dreamed of and knew was possible to live! Without much flexibility with my work time, I was really feeling stuck. I knew there were times during my career journey that I did love my job and I knew I was learning so much. But, there were also times I didn't feel great about my life choices. There was one job in particular that I absolutely did not love. It felt like tedious, disconnected work that wasn't igniting any passion inside of me.
I was working for a company that was unclear of its 'WHY' and even worse, I felt like they were faking it.
I knew something needed to shift in my life.
So I went to therapy. My therapist said, "You are mourning the loss of your life in Australia. It is like a death of that life." For whatever reason, this really hit home for me. I gave myself permission to mourn that chapter of my life, and when I felt my grieving had mostly passed, I created a plan to get out.
I took an opportunity to move to Hawaii and start again.
And although I started out as a dishwasher making $10/hour, I was happy! I was meeting wonderful people and I was having fun at the job.
I had faith it would lead to something I was passionate about because I was confidently making changes from my heart space.
I started teaching yoga at the studio next door and then ended up managing that studio, as well as their boutique and jewelry business, for the next 3 years. I pretty much ran the majority of the business while working with the owner on her vision for the company. It was so much fun that I realized I wanted to help more business owners dream big and execute on their vision, so I started my own business as a coach.
I offer…
I imagine that you too have a full life - making it even more important to take the first step towards financial freedom AND doing what you love now.
I’m here to help you create the best version of yourself
- whether that looks like getting clarity on your goals, hiring a team to free up your time, or developing new relationships to increase revenue.
As a business coach and guide, I offer 3 to 6-month long programs that support my clients in discovering and implementing their favorite vision of their business and life. Programs are also customizable, but I’ve found the 6-month program to be a great base.
Recently, I also completed my training in EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). Some people simply call this technique ‘tapping.’ This very gentle technique helps to discharge emotional distress, traumatic memories, and negative thoughts. I use this practice throughout the business coaching and I also offer separate, EFT only sessions that you can book here.
I would love to connect with you to hear about your vision and any challenges coming up in the way of your dreams. If you'd like support with living your most radical, fulfilling life, click here to book a free 45 minute call.
I look forward to getting to know you!
